Nelson Regatta 2026

The Nelson Regatta will be held this year on June 13 and 14 on Kootenay Lake west arm at Nelson.

It will be organized by the Kootenay Lake Sailing Association.

The current Racing Rules of Sailing, B.C. Sailing PHRF rules, and KLSA sailing instructions will apply.

Registration with $125 entry fee (etransfer) should be sent to
kootenaylakesailing@gmail.com

It must include:

• Skipper and boat name,
• sail number,
• BC PHRF rating,
• number of crew attending BBQ (Saturday pm)

The registration fee includes dinner for the skipper. Crew and guests cost $15 each for dinner on Saturday evening which can be paid with the registration fee by e-transfer

Keel boats, dinghies and multi hulls are invited. Minimum fleet size will be 3

Liability insurance is the responsibility of participating skippers.

Skippers meeting will be 10 Am Saturday June 14 at the Prestige Marina Fuel Dock

• Races start at 10:30 Am both days.
• No signals to start the race will be made after 4 pm on Saturday and after 3 pm on Sunday

The Social committee will announce Saturday pm BBQ details and results presentation party location with the Sailing Instructions
